What’s involved?

In July 2022, children from around the world will be coming to Westonbirt International Summer School and we are inviting up to 32 Wishford pupils each week, from Years 6 – Year 11, to join the fun!

Our international guests will spend the morning focusing on English language and then enjoy team challenges in the afternoon, followed by a programme of activities including horse riding, tennis, golf, performing arts and cookery. There will be trips to London, Bath, Oxford and Bristol on some of the days, and in the evenings there will be BBQs, games of capture the flag and movie nights. Participating Wishford pupils will join our international guests for the afternoon of team challenges, activities, trips and the evening social programme.

Inviting UK host students to Summer School will offer our international visitors the chance to continue improving their English while having fun in the afternoons and evenings. It will offer Wishford students the opportunity to have an amazing experience whilst growing a global address book!

How to apply

There is a small cost of £10 per day for taking part (with additional charges only for horse riding and trips), this is a great opportunity to be an ambassador for Wishford Schools and to make new friends from across the globe at the same time!

For older students, there are leadership roles which will look great on UCAS application forms.

Parents have the option of also booking Holiday Club at Westonbirt School, 8:30am – 12:30pm Monday to Friday, at £100 for 5 days. This is completely optional and only available to pupils 14 years and younger.
