We are blessed with a vast amount of space and natural beauty at Westonbirt. As a school, we fully utilise our incredible surroundings to benefit children’s learning.
Whether it is dressing as ancient Greeks in the Italian Gardens, conducting science investigations in the meadow, cooking in the spinney during Forest School, competing on the sports pitches or climbing and jumping in the play areas, outdoor activity plays a huge role in our school day.
We are very much an outdoor school and believe that the benefits of physical activity and fresh air are extremely important. Opportunities are given throughout the day and are included in our curriculum, extra-curricular clubs and activities and during recreation. We encourage the children to learn, play and reflect in these inspiring spaces and to make the most of their learning and of their childhood.
