One of the greatest advantages of studying at Westonbirt is its location in the heart of the Cotswolds, one of Britain’s most beautiful regions. From historic cities and world-famous landmarks to picturesque countryside and traditional English towns, students enjoy a wide range of unforgettable experiences throughout their stay.
With three trips every week, students explore the places, cultures and attractions that make Britain famous around the world. Whether cruising along the River Thames in London or discovering the ancient streets of Oxford or Bath, every week brings a new adventure.
A unique feature of Westonbirt Summer School is the opportunity to learn, collaborate and make friends with UK Host Students, who spend the week fully integrated into the summer school, joining in with learning, academies, evening fun and trips.
On three afternoons each week, international and British students come together for Integration Projects, working in mixed teams to take on exciting real-world problems in the Team Project Challenge. These projects are designed to help students improve their English naturally while developing valuable skills in communication, teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving, presentation and leadership. By working towards a shared goal, students build confidence, make international friendships and gain a deeper understanding of different cultures
