A DAY IN THE LIFE AT WESTONBIRT

 

From the moment your child arrives, they’ll be fully immersed in school life — joining lessons and activities alongside our pupils, not as a visitor, but as one of our school community. The Immersion Programme offers the chance to explore the UK curriculum, try new subjects and discover fresh interests — from science and drama to food tech, coding, art and music. Lessons are interactive and inspiring, taught in small classes by expert teachers who provide personalised support. Students enjoy our high-quality facilities and beautiful surroundings. Learning often takes place beyond the classroom — exploring the lake in science, acting in the Orangery Theatre, swimming in our 25m pool, or trying British sports like rugby and lacrosse on our modern pitches.

Boarding: Where Boarding Begins

Westonbirt has six welcoming boarding houses, each with its own character. Students can choose single or shared rooms, with a dedicated Immersion House for groups. Houseparents and residential assistants create a safe, caring environment that helps students settle in quickly.

Evenings are filled with fun – cooking, swimming, movie nights – and weekends bring even more to enjoy.

Our on-site Health and Wellbeing Centre offers medical care, counselling, and physiotherapy. Staff are trained to spot when a student needs support, often before they ask.

Duration: 2–3 weeks (flexible options available)

Weekly Programme Cost (incl. VAT):

£1,450 – Year 7 & 8 (ages 11–12)
£1,550 – Year 9, 10 & 12 (ages 13–17)
