Westonbirt Prep School hosts Inter Schools Cross Country Event
On Wednesday 7th February, Westonbirt Prep School continued the focus on cross country by hosting its annual U8-U11 Inter Schools Cross Country event. It was a lovely day full of enthusiasm and sportsmanship as pupils from 14 different state and private schools from the local area came together to compete.
Head of Prep Sport, Mrs Farmer said, “A massive well done to all of the runners who took part in our cross-country event this afternoon! With over 450 children taking part, of all differing abilities, it was a lovely atmosphere full of smiles, team work and determination. Thank you to all of the staff and parents who supported the smooth running of the event. We look forward to welcoming everyone back again next year.”

2024 Results concluded:
U8 Boys – Jago P -Won with a time of 6 mins 17 secs & Westonbirt Prep finished in 2nd place overall (based on lowest three scores)
U8 Girls – Sofia D – Won with a time of 6 mins 35 secs & Westonbirt Prep finished in 1st place overall (based on lowest three scores)
U9 Boys – Westonbirt Prep finished in 2nd place overall (based on lowest three scores)
U10 Girls – Olivia L – Won with a time of 9 mins 30 secs & Westonbirt Prep finished in 2nd place overall (based on the lowest three scores)
U11 Girls – Westonbirt Prep finished in 1st place overall (based on lowest three scores)
