With a degree in Mathematics from Imperial College London, Dina brings a wealth of experience to Westonbirt. Her career spans both the state and independent sectors, having started through the renowned Teach First graduate programme and later holding leadership positions at several leading UK schools, including St Albans School, the Stephen Perse Foundation, and Brentwood School. Dina is also a Team Inspector for the Independent Schools Inspectorate.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dina to Westonbirt,” said Sam Antrobus, Founder of Wishford Schools, “Her experience and clear vision for the future will help us continue to build on the school’s successes and uphold the values that make Westonbirt a special place for our students and staff. We are excited to work with Dina to build on its strong foundation while guiding the school forward.”
Reflecting on her appointment, Dina said: “Westonbirt’s incredible warmth speaks of a community determined to nurture and inspire children to know the true value of kindness and seek to become the very best version of themselves. Education is a journey to beautiful destinations and personal fulfilment comes from the growth we experience when we truly invest. I am delighted to have been given the honour of leading this wonderful school and I look forward to getting to know each and every member of the Westonbirt community.”
In the months ahead, a carefully planned transition programme will ensure Dina’s smooth integration into the school community. This will include opportunities for parents and the wider community to meet and engage with Dina. Details of these events will be announced shortly.
