What are the aims of the course?

A Level economics aims to equip young people with the ability to think critically, analyse complex information, and make well-reasoned decisions. The course encourages logical thinking, effective communication, and the interpretation of data to build and evaluate arguments. Students develop problem-solving skills, an awareness of different perspectives, and the confidence to engage with real-world issues. These transferable skills prepare them for further study, active citizenship, and a wide range of future careers.

Are there any specific entry requirements?

We recommend a Grade 5 or above in both Maths and English.
