What are the aims of the course?
A Level photography provides an opportunity to learn and develop a range of skills in relation to lens based media, techniques and processes, through both traditional and new technologies. The course aims to develop strong independent points of view and a mature grasp of the range of critical debate surrounding contemporary art and its many international histories. You will be equipped to become a motivated and resourceful learner with a good sense of how to organise your time. There is plenty of opportunity for imaginative and creative expression, using a range of media.
Are there any specific entry requirements?
Alongside the minimum entry requirements to Westonbirt Sixth Form photography you will need a passion for being creative.
