Who Participates: Pre-Prep, Prep, and Senior Boys and Girls

Term(s) Offered: Autumn and Spring (Squad training Summer term)

What’s offered: Year 7 and 8 one lesson per week per half term. Senior Squad Monday 07:10-08:00 and Elites Squad Wednesday 07:10-08:00. Scholars have access to land-based training S&C, GCSE swimming assessment when required.

Facilities: 25m Swimming pool with viewing gallery.

History at Westonbirt: Westonbirt Prep School boys smashed their way to a new national swimming record (May, 2015).

Achievements: Year 6 student Lorcan, achieved gold at the ISA Swimming competition in 50m breaststroke and bronze in 50m backstroke. (2022) Hosted Stonar and St Mary’s Calne Girls gala (2023). Total of nine swimmers qualified for ISA National finals (2022).
