Admissions process

1. Get in touch

You can make an enquiry by using the link to the online form, emailing or calling us. Once we have received your enquiry, we will be in touch to find out a bit more about you and your child, and to start to get an idea of what is important to you, and what you are looking for in a school.

2. Book a personalised tour

We’ll arrange a personal visit at a time that suits you. You’ll meet our Head and ask any questions about what matters most to your family. Your tour will be led by one of our current students, giving you an authentic insight into daily life at Westonbirt from someone living and breathing our community. You’re also welcome to join us at one of our regular dedicated Open Days which take place in the autumn and spring.

3. Taster Days & Transition Events

We run regular events so your child can experience life at Westonbirt first hand. These might be dedicated taster or transition events, or you can book a day during term time, where your child will follow our timetable alongside current pupils. At the end of the day, you’ll have the chance to meet with the Head of Year to hear how they got on and ask any questions.

4. Registration

Once you’re confident that Westonbirt is the right fit for your child, we’ll ask you to complete a registration form and pay a £120 registration fee.

5. Entry Assessment

Once we receive your registration, we’ll invite your child to attend an entry assessment.

6. Offer and acceptance

After a successful entry assessment, we’ll send you an offer along with all the relevant forms.

7. Join us for your child’s first day!

We can’t wait to welcome your child on their first day at Westonbirt. In the meantime, we’ll stay in regular touch and invite you to events and any special occasions so you can start to become a part of our community.
