Year 12 student nominated for the Whitbread Memorial Prize 2023
Hannah, a Year 12 student, is celebrating her nomination for the Independent School Association’s (ISA) Whitbread Memorial Prize 2023.
With only 16 pupils shortlisted, out of all 646 ISA Members’ Schools, it is a huge achievement for Hannah to have been nominated, and to be acknowledged for her outstanding contribution to the school community.
The Whitbread Memorial Prize recognises and celebrates students that have outstanding involvement in the wider aspects of school and community life, as well as achieving academic excellence in their Year 11 exams. Not only has Hannah achieved excellent results in her GCSE’s, but she continues to be an invaluable member in the senior lacrosse team, a talented musician regularly taking part in concerts and shows as a soloist, part of an ensemble or wider cast member, and is a regular competitor in the Equestrian team and has seen much success in competitions. As a peer mentor, Hannah is a fantastic role model to those around her.
Although there was no win this year, Westonbirt School are extremely proud of Hannah’s nomination and wish her all the best in her last few years at the School.
