Mrs Dicks is responsible for the development and monitoring of the academic aspects of school. These include providing a challenging and engaging curriculum, a range of assessment strategies, outstanding teaching provision and a constructive feedback structure for pupils and parents. She also leads our ever-expanding team of Forest School trained staff to ensure that outdoor learning remains a crucial part of school life.
Mrs Clifton has responsibility for safeguarding at the prep school. This area is of utmost importance across the school and the role involves liaising with pupils, staff, parents and external agencies in order that all children in our care remain safe. In addition to this, Mrs Clifton also leads our future schools programme, which includes entrance procedures and preparation at Year 5 and 6, and also manages to the organisation of events and the day to day requirements of the school.
Miss Leggate oversees the pastoral care and personal development in the school. This encompasses the curriculum element of PHSE (Personal, Health, Social, Economic education), the behaviour, sanctions and rewards system in the school and also the overall wellbeing of pupils and staff. Included in this are areas such as our House system where children are vertically integrated across year groups into House teams for events and competitions, mindfulness and wellbeing assemblies and sessions, after school activities and the school council.
Miss Bird oversees the sport provision across the prep school and ensures that we have a broad range of opportunities for all children. This includes the delivery of physical education lessons (PE) and the organisation of coaching and fixtures in our core games sports of rugby, hockey, netball and cricket, as well additional sports such as athletics, swimming and cross country.

If you have not yet visited our campus and are looking for entry in September 2021, we are offering restricted outdoor ‘walk and talk’ tours or individual Zoom meetings with Mr Price. Our Director of Admissions, Patricia Stevenson, would be happy to arrange this at a time to suit you.
