Our Nursery is led by Amy Friend and the team of nursery assistants.
Amy manages the Nursery setting and oversees our three rooms: The Peacocks (pre school); The Robins (rising 3s) and The Little Owls (2 year olds.) In doing this, she works with all staff, key workers and room leads, as well as the EYFS coordinator, to ensure that our provision is engaging and nurturing whilst staying true to the school aims.
Together they create a friendly, caring and nurturing setting that runs from 8am-6pm all year round. The Nursery is a fundamental part of our school community and follows the same values and ethos as the rest of the school with the matching aims of creating inspiring opportunities for learning and experiencing a joyous and memorable childhood and the encouragement of our 3 C’s: Curiosity; Creativity and Courage.
Emily Palmer is the Early Years Foundation Stage (Age 2-5) Coordinator and one of our Reception teachers. She works alongside Emily King as our other Reception teacher and our teaching assistants, Sue Filmer and Alice Bell. Together they deliver a provision that ensures that children have a fun, enjoyable and positive start to their schooling.
There is a focus on developing rounded skills in terms of academic progression, personal and social skills and physical development in order that children get the foundations they need to go on to be successful learners and good people who enjoy their time in school. We hope you enjoy this short video introducing you to life in Reception.
After the event, everyone who has registered for Open Morning will receive further information about the admissions process. If you would like to receive this information but did not sign up, please complete our expression of interest form.
If you have not yet visited our campus and are looking for entry in September 2021, we are offering restricted outdoor ‘walk and talk’ tours or individual Zoom meetings with Mr Price. Our Director of Admissions, Patricia Stevenson, would be happy to arrange this at a time to suit you.
Finally, if you have any questions then please do not hesitate to Email Admissions or Call us
