What are the aims of the course?
A Level Spanish offers students the chance to become confident and articulate speakers of one of the world’s most widely spoken languages. The course develops fluency, accuracy, and the ability to understand and discuss complex social, political, and cultural topics. By analysing original texts and expressing informed and nuanced opinions on topical issues, students grow in cultural awareness and analytical thinking. Research, debating, and extended writing are all key elements, laying the foundation for future academic study and global careers.
Are there any specific entry requirements?
We recommend a Grade 6 or above in GCSE Spanish to fully access the A Level course.
