The Sixth Form dedicated boarding house is run by Mrs Lisa Bradbury who is married with a daughter in the Prep school. She and her family live on site.
Every student, including day students, have their own study bedroom including a bed, desk, wardrobe and bookshelf space. Students share the boarding house which is more like university style living providing sixth formers with more independent living.
Sixth Form students wear smart suits rather than school uniform and are responsible for their own timekeeping. Time needs to be spent wisely to develop a healthy balance between studies and leisure time.
The House environment is such that students develop the self-confidence needed to relate well to peers and to those outside the school community. Students leaving the Sixth Form House are equipped not only with academic success but with confidence and self-assurance, ready to rise to lifes' challenges.
There is a great sense of community in the house where good manners and respect for one another are encouraged. The Sixth Form House is a separate building where students learn to bridge the gap between Year 11 and university, giving them more independence, privileges and personal responsibility.
The Sixth Form accommodation is accessible exclusively to Sixth Formers, as are the Sixth Form common room, study centre and dining room. They also have their own kitchen and laundry facilities. New additions include the Sixth Form bar, yoga room and an upgrade to the common room areas. Sixth Formers may also use the Sports Centre gym, pool and golf course as they choose.
