Westonbirt School is proud to work with Carer Support Wiltshire; the amazing charity offering support, education, information and respite for young and adult carers across Wiltshire.
Head of Charities, Hattie, in Year 13 says:
“We are looking forward to hosting several garden parties in the school grounds again this year for carers supported by the charity; offering a day of fun and relaxation for people who are often shrouded in commitment, ensuring they are cared for and spoiled by the Westonbirt students and staff.
These are not only rewarding and fun days but also a great opportunity for pupils to engage and give back to the local community.”
Service above self is an important lesson at Westonbirt and one that Headmistress, Natasha Dangerfield, is delighted to encourage through the school’s partnership with Carer Support Wiltshire:
“Giving Tuesday offers the perfect opportunity for us to raise awareness for this fantastic local charity and reflect on the importance of it’s work with the many young and adults carers in our community. We very much look forward to welcoming Carer Support Wiltshire back to Westonbirt in the new year.”
